When the daily clean is not enough
Contract cleaning keeps a floor tidy. It does not reverse ten years of traffic.
Entrances, corridors and till points take a different kind of wear to the rest of a building. Grit ground in daily, spills left through a shift, and a mop that spreads more than it lifts. The result is traffic lanes, dull patches and grout lines that no longer match the tile around them.
A periodic deep clean resets the floor to a standard the daily clean can actually hold. We survey the site, work out what each area needs, and phase the work so the building stays open.
- Traffic lanes through entrances and corridors
- Dull or greying tile, vinyl and stone
- Failed sealers and worn floor dressings
- Grout and edges the daily clean cannot reach
Recent commercial work
The entrance is what everybody judges.
On a commercial floor the entrance and the traffic lanes are the test. If those match the rest of the floor, the job was done properly.

They worked around us rather than the other way round. The day shift walked in on Monday and just stopped and looked at it.

A programme built around the site
Survey, restore, then keep it there.
Every building is different. The survey decides which surfaces need a deep clean, which need restoring, and what a realistic maintenance interval looks like.
-
Stage 01Survey & method
We walk the site, identify each floor type and its condition, then agree access, timings and the areas that matter most.
-
Stage 02Deep clean & restore
Machinery and chemistry matched to each surface: rotary scrubbing, pressure rinse and extraction, or full restoration where the floor warrants it.
-
Stage 03Protect & maintain
Sealers or floor dressings go back on where they help, and we can set a return interval so the floor never gets back to where it started.

Buildings & surfaces
One site, several floor types, one programme.
Most commercial buildings are not one floor. A tiled entrance, vinyl corridors, a stone reception and sealed concrete in the back all need different chemistry and different machinery. We survey the lot together so the whole building can be handled on one programme rather than four separate visits.

Commercial hard floor cleaning questions.
Send a floor plan, a few photographs or just the square meterage and we will tell you what is involved.
Prefer to talk it through?
Tell us the building, the floor types and when the site is quiet. We will work out whether it is one visit or a schedule.
Can you work outside our opening hours?
Yes. Most commercial work is done in the evening, overnight or at weekends, phased area by area so the building stays usable. Access, keys and alarm arrangements are agreed before the first visit.
Do you handle buildings with several different floor types?
That is the normal case. A single survey covers the tiled entrance, the vinyl corridors and the stone reception, and the quote sets out the right method for each rather than one blanket price.
Is this instead of our contract cleaners?
No, alongside them. Daily cleaning maintains a floor, periodic deep cleaning resets it. The two work best together, and we will tell you what your team can hold between visits.
Can you work in an occupied building?
Usually yes, by phasing areas and cordoning off wet floors. Some stages need a closed area or a longer drying window, and those are identified in the survey rather than on the day.
Do you offer a regular maintenance schedule?
Yes. Once we know the traffic and the surfaces we can set a sensible return interval of quarterly, twice a year or annually, so the floor never drops back to its starting condition.
How is commercial work priced?
By area, surface type, condition and access. Every site is quoted in writing after a survey, with the scope and the programme set out so there are no surprises.
